Mac And Cheese. It’s a creamy, filling comfort food that so many of us enjoy. I have always kept a few boxes on hand in my house for many years. I still use the boxed product at times, but there are many times that I like to make a variation from scratch. This recipe for Pressure Cooker Mac And Cheese is for a plain and simple mac and cheese. It’s nice and creamy, making it great for either a side dish or just a big old bowl of yum. It stores well and is creamy enough that it doesn’t dry out by the next day. Here’s how I make it.

I like my pasta’s texture best boiled the old-fashioned way in a boiling pot of water. What does this pressure cooker do to texture?

I don’t have one of these new pressure cookers. Sure it is fast but doesn’t take that long to make mac and cheese so I will just have to suffer and make it the old fashion way.

We usually cook mongo soup in pressure cooker. It’s great for cooking beef dishes like beef caldereta. I haven’t tried cooking mac & cheese in a pressure cooker, will try it soon.

I have never tried making pasta in a pressure cooker before. I know it is possible but I am just worried it would turn out soggy. Anyway, I will follow your procedure to the letter. Mac and Cheese is always a winner in our household.
