Instructions

Place a thin coating of olive oil on the bottom of the pot.

Put the pasta into the pot.

Pour the liquid into the pot.

Make sure all of the pasta gets moistened and try to get as much of it covered as possible. Some will stick up out of the liquid.

Put the lid onto the pot and close to seal.

Set the pressure cooker to cook on manual high rpessure for 4 minutes.

Once the cooking cycle has finished, do a quick pressure release.

Switch the pressure cooker to saute.

Add the butter, seasoning, milk and grated cheese to the pot and stir well.

Serve immediately with salt and pepper to taste.

I love how easy this recipe is but so, so good! My mom would make me buttered pasta whenever I was sick. Just a simple meal with a little butter and seasoning...sometimes, it's the simple things that are the best :)

I used to have a regular pressure cooker that I canned with - I gave it to my daughter years ago when I stopped canning. Now I wish I had it. I didn't know you cook pasta in a pressure cooker. That's amazing. Another reason to get one.
