Orthaheel slippers

First a word from Orthoheel about its slippers:
Invented by leading Australian podiatrist, Phillip Vasyli, Orthaheel indoor-outdoor slippers feature built-in orthotic technology, providing aching feet with arch support, breathability and pain relief in feet/knees/legs/lower back. The construction also helps realign feet to their neutral, natural position, easing joint paint. All Orthaheel slippers have received the APMA seal of acceptance and are recommended by leading health guru, Dr. Andrew Weil. For additional information visit www.orthaheelusa.com.

I hate. I like barefooting; however, it simply is not wise for diabetic me. The fact is I wear orthodics because my feet need to be protected. No ill-fitted, poorly constructed boots, shoes, sandals or slippers for this old lady. The fact is I need foot support just what style-meets-science Orthoheel does. The fact is that I need style, stability, and breathability.

I just received a pair of Gemma slippers (SMRP $59.95). Call them colorful, comfortable, and cuddly. My arches and joints haven’t had it this good in a long, long time. Their built-in technology realigns my feet properly. Wearing Orthoheel means my feet, knees, legs, and lower back don’t hurt the way they used to.

Gemma is an easy on and off indoor-outdoor mule with roomy construction and adjustable velcro closure. Its built-in contoured arch and deep heel cup construction gives me the support I need. Indoors, its 100% polyester terry lining makes my feet toasty. Outdoors, its durable TPR outsole with wave-pattern tread keeps my feet high and dry.

Since I got my new slippers, I wear them anywhere and everywhere EXCEPT bed. I wear them holiday house cleaning, decorating, baking, shopping, wrapping…. Would you believe hubby forbade me to wear them last night to the Christmas party we attended. (Spoil sport.) Wouldn’t my slippers have been better than my slipping off my shoes early on?

Christmas Wishlist 2014: A pair of Orthoheel fashioned for the holiday season.

Those are super cute slippers! I have a pair of Orthaheel slippers I need to post a review about, too. Yours are far cuter than mine, but I bet they're just as comfy. ;-)

I love a slipper with a good sole that I can wear in and out of the house. I would love a pair of these, too.

I love the print on your slippers! These could be a great gift idea for my husband's aunt who has diabetes, which has caused her a lot of back, leg, and foot problems.
