One-Pot Ravioli With Spinach And Chicken Recipe From Val's Kitchen

I wanted to make the husband something different. I knew I wanted to use his favorite vegetable, spinach. He likes spinach with pasta, so I decided to try mixing the spinach with some ravioli, along with some chicken. He loved the final dish and said he’d love for me to make it again. Here’s how I made it.

One-Pot Ravioli With Spinach And Chicken

  • 13 oz bag mini cheese ravioli
  • 15 oz jar alfredo sauce
  • 8 oz water
  • 12 oz bag steamable spinach
  • 9 oz chicken breast (I used Perdue Shortcuts Italian)
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

Place ravioli, onion powder, garlic powder, alfredo sauce and water in large skillet and bring to a boil.

While that is cooking, microwave the spinach for 4 minutes. Drain any water from the bag.

Chop the chicken into small bite sized pieces.

Add the spinach and chicken to the pan and stir well.

Reduce heat to low and let cook for 3-4 minutes.

Serve immediately with salt and pepper to taste.

This dish has all the ingredients that we have as staples in the house anyway, so this could be something that I make all the time. Great combo of flavors.

You had me at one pot, but combining pasta, alfredo sauce and chicken is the total way to my heart. I appreciate that it includes spinach to lighten the guilt too.

What a delicious sounding recipe. Since I am chief cook and bottle washer, I enjoy easy to prepare meals in one pan or pot. I’ve been looking for a ravioli recipe that veers away from red sauce, so you picked a perfect time to post this recipe.
