Slowcooker Apple Butter Pork Chops Recipe From Val's Kitchen

Hubby loves pork chops. Every time I hear the term pork chops I wind up thinking of the Brady Bunch. You know which episode I mean, the one in which Bobby Brady is pretending to be Humphrey Bogart.

So I had these pork chops that I needed to cook. I looked at the package and immediately had applesauce on my mind. I decided to use apple butter instead. I liked the way the apple butter gave the chops a sweetness and helped keep hem moist. The kitchen stayed cool, since I cooked them in my Ninja 3-in-1 Cooking System. Here’s how I made it.

Slowcooker Apple Butter Pork Chops

  • 1.75 lbs boneless pork chops (the package I got had 8 chops)
  • 1.5 cups apple butter
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Place the pork chops into the Ninja.

Sprinkle the onion and garlic powder on top of the pork chops.

Place the apple butter on top of the porkchops.

Set the Ninja to slowcook high and cook for 1-1.5 hours, checking for doneness after 45 minutes. The pork chops will be tender and cut with a fork when they’re done, plus will no longer be pink inside.

Serve immediately with your favorite side., They pair quite nicely with white rice.

The Ninja Cooking System is nonstick. I have never added water to this and they’ve never stuck.
