I like watches. They’re one of the few types of jewelry that can not only look nice but can also serve a function. I think everyone should know how to tell time. I don’t mean read digital time, I mean actually know how to read time o a clock with hands. I received my watch when I was young. Both of my boys received inexpensive watches when they were young. You don’t often see a watch that works for both adults and children, at least not in my experience. Moffett has made watches that do exactly that. And they do something else. They smell good.
Moffett watches come in pieces you put together yourself. The starter pack, which retails for $24.95,  comes with the band (in two halves), the face, and the scented piece that goes on the face. Starter packs are currently available in Black Currant & Candy Apple (black strap) and Coconut & Orange (white strap).

No tools are required to put the watch together. The face has a groove on each side that you slide the band pieces into. The band pieces fit very snugly, there was no play and nothing fell off. When I went to take them apart I actually had to work and tug a bit, which I thought was good, because it means that the watch wouldn’t be likely to just slide off while wearing.

Additional Mix & Match Packs retail for $12.50 and are available in a wide range of scents including:

• Black currant
• Blueberry
• Candy apple
• Coconut
• Grape
• Orange citrus
• Pineapple
• Strawberry

The scents aren’t overpowering, the fruity scents are pretty subtle while remaining appealing. I have changed my scents twice. I can’t say how long a scent lasts yet, but neither has run out of yummy smell yet.
I was very impressed with the Moffett Watches. I like the concept. I’ve been wearing mine for over a week and haven’t found any issues with the design. I think they’d make a great gift for any child, or really anyone including adults that would like a fun watch. Graduations, Easter baskets, stocking stuffers, gift exchanges, birthday gifts, the possibilities are endless.
