Mama Koala is the newest addition to the cuddly collection of soft, soothing plush designed to help children sleep peacefully and calmly through the night. This cute Koala offers the ultimate in mommy comfort as she cuddles her own Baby Koala and lulls little ones to sleep with the soothing sounds of Mother’s Heartbeat, Spring Showers, Ocean Waves, and Whale Songs. The detachable plush Baby Koala is a sweet baby rattle for little fingers to grab and hold during playtime.
This extremely soft plush Mama Koala plays four soothing noises and melodies. The baby is a detachable plush rattle. You can attach this to the crib with the velcro strap. The set comes with 2 AA batteries. There is a removable sound box with an auto shut-off timer that can be set for a duration of 23 to 45 minutes.
The sound machine is extremely easy to put in and take out. The Velcro strap is just as soft to touch as the rest of the Koala so if your little one is anything like BG they won’t go searching it out since it doesn’t make a crinkle noise like velcro. There is a great easy access volume knob so you don’t have to take it the plush off of the crib to adjust it. The little story book is a quick little bedtime Story. The book also includes a certification of adoption and instructions on how to use this adorable toy. BG checked it out for awhile running his hands on Mama and really liked playing with the baby koala. This would be a great baby shower gift since the sounds are Heartbeat, Rain, Ocean, and a Whale call which are all very relaxing to a newborn. It would also make a great holiday gift for any new or expecting parent.

I don't think I've ever heard a whale call. I'm curious now and have to go look it up. :) The Koala & Baby does sound great, and I love Cloud B products! To answer your question, my little guy only woke up if it was silent. If there was noise going on, he was content and would sleep well. :)
