I can truthfully say my children had no real problems falling asleep when they were young. I can’t truthfully say that they always stayed asleep in their bed, but I can say that I never had to go to extremes to get them to go to sleep. What do I mean by extreme? Driving. It is absolutely unbelievable how many parents I personally know that had to literally put their children into their car seats and drive them around for a while until they fell asleep. I understand this is pretty common. But it does get you to thinking about people in metropolitan areas like New York City. I’m right across the river in new Jersey and I do go to the city occasionally for events. I know that many people there don’t have a car, and a number of the ones that do can’t get to it quickly due to where it’s parked. What do they do? Is this the solution?
In Brooklyn? No washer? Luvs has you covered this weekend. On October 10th and 11th, Luvs is providing a Twitter powered taxi-service in the Brooklyn area called the Lullaby Lift Program. Parents need only tweet @Luvs #LullabyLift between the hours of 6pm-12am and a customized Lullaby Lift taxi, complete with car seat, will be sent to the rescue. The sleep utility vehicle drivers will take you both for a drive, so your baby can fall asleep and everyone can get some rest. And, there’s more! Knowing that nights are challenging enough, riders will be gifted with new Luvs with Nightlock, which has the longest absorbency area ever to help lock wetness away, removing one more thing that might wake your baby and contribute to a sleepless night.
Pretty neat concept! Hang in there Brooklyn, Luvs Lullaby Lift is coming!
If you need more info or want to read the FAQs they’re available on the Luvs Lullaby Lift page.

Only middle collicly son gave us problems sleeping. Good all day, he became a terror around midnight. Swings and carriages didn't help but basil water did.
