Instant Pot Ziti With Italian Sausage Recipe From Val's Kitchen

Instructions

Set the Instant Pot to saute. Place a thin layer of olive oil onto the bottom of the pot.

Place the sausage links into the pot and brown them. This takes about 15 minutes.

Use tongs to keep turning your sausage. Once the sausage is about 3/4 of the way cooked, remove one link at a time and cut it into slices, then return the slices to the pot.

Once the sausage is almost all of the way browned through and through, add the pasta.

Now add the crushed tomatoes, seasoning and water. All of the pasta and sausage should be covered at this point.

Place the lid onto the Instant Pot and close the valve so it’s sealed.

Set the Instant Pot to cook on high pressure for 6 minutes.

Once the cooking cycle has finished, do a quick pressure release.

Add 1/2 cup of cream and stir well.

Add 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese and stir well.

Serve and enjoy.

Instant Pot makes my life easier, I am guilty working full time sometimes it takes all your energy and time. It is always nice that you can still manage to make food for the family. I love this recipe and will surely try it sometime this week.

Don’t own a instant pot. Will just have to make your great recipe the old fashion way on top of my stove. I don’ mind at all.

I’m so jealous of everyone that has an Instant Pot. This looks yummy, we’ve had nothing but freezing cold temps here. This one pot situation would be perfect for out days snowed in.

Instant really a pressure cooker. Skeptical for years, I must admit a ham made recently in one was one of the best I ever ate.

I’ve never heard of pot ziti before but it looks nice. Actually I’ve mixed pasta with sausages before so I guess it’s kind of similar. Although yours looks like it tastes a lot better than what I made.
