Time is flying by once again this year. Easter is in a few weeks. Before you know it Father’s Day will be here. My Dad is getting harder and harder to buy for each year it seems. Are there any men in your life that you have a hard time finding the perfect gift for? Jane sent me some tips on gift guying for the special guy in your life. I’;m sharing them with you, perhaps you’ll find one to be helpful.
They say that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. I don’t know who “they” are, but “they” sure are smart. I know my idea of a great gift is a delicious meal, a special snack, or something tasty when I’m blue. If you want to give your husband a gift that he’ll really enjoy, consider one of the following ideas:
Steak — Few things will appeal more to the manly man than a huge, juicy Omaha steak. They’re very pricey, but it will be just what he needs to let him know that you love him. He’ll be able to fire up the grill and make that steak just the way it was intended to be prepared, and it will be the perfect gift for any man!
Beer Basket — Men love beer! There’s nothing like a cold one to take the edge off a long day, so get him a beer basket to let him know you care. Beer baskets come in all sizes and shapes, and you can get national beers, imported beers, beers from microbreweries, or beers by his favorite brand. He will taste your love in every sip!
Wine Basket — For the man with a streak of romance in him, wine baskets will be an ideal present. He’ll be able to take you out on that romantic picnic you’ve been planning, and still have a few bottles of wine to share when your friends come over. A basket of wine will be a great gift, and it’s one that you can enjoy too!
Cookies — You ladies may think that you have the monopoly on the sweet tooth, but every man has that one cookie that he just can’t get enough of. Why not find out what his favorite cookies are, and get him a tin of those tasty treats? It may be Danish butter cookies, oatmeal raisin cookies, or dark chocolate chip, but rest assured that there are cookies that will make his mouth water!
Cupcakes — A cake is something to share with everyone, but why not get him a cupcake that he can enjoy all on his own? There are many bakeries that will sell personalized cupcake baskets, and you’ll find that he will enjoy biting into all of the sweet treats to figure out which one he likes best!
Chocolate Strawberries — Chocolate strawberries are for guys too, and you should consider getting him this special present on his special day. If you want to make it a bit more interactive, get a chocolate fondue machine and some fresh strawberries. You can dip the fruit into the chocolate, and get ready for a wild night!
These ideas can help you to find your way to your man’s heart through his stomach, and you can bet that these are gift baskets that he is sure to love!
