Florabelle is an adorable little girl with a BIG imagination. Sometimes her imagination can get her in trouble. She is too busy day dreaming that sometimes she misses breakfast or is late for school. Florabelle is really excited for her upcoming trip to the beach with her family. Florabelle’s family has had enough of her day dreaming. Threatening to cancel their beach trip if she doesn’t start listening.
Florabelle decided she was to be on her best behavior, she could not miss the beach! When Florabelle arrived at the beach with her family she realized the ocean was not what she imagined at all. She decided to just play on the sand. The ocean looked very dark and scary. It was Florabelle’s imagination that helped her overcome her fear of the ocean!
My little guy loved the story of Florabelle. He also loves to use his imagination. I firmly believe imaginative play is very important for children. My little guy absolutely loves flowers. We must stop and smell every flower we see. He was delighted looking at all the beautiful flower photography in this book. I think Florabelle teaches kids a great lesson that it is okay to dream and imagine, but sometimes we have to be serious.

My daughter just loves Mermaids... and at 5, has a lot of fears to overcomes. This book would be perfect for her. Thanks for sharing.
