Filter Savings Club is dedicated to saving you money on your water jug filters. It also knows it can be difficult to remember to change every month. I am guilty of that. I usually forget until I notice an awful tap water taste to my filtered water. Then I have to go shell out $10+ on one filter that is good for about a month if I’m lucky the way my family goes through water!

Filter Savings Club

Filter Savings Club came up with a solution to buying pricey filters and forgetting to change them. Filter Savings Club lets you choose a subscription plan to have your filters shipped right to your door as often as you need them.

You can choose from the Doggy Paddle (one filter every 3 months for light water drinking), Front Crawl (one filter every 2 months for moderate water drinking), and Butterfly (one filter every month for heavy water drinking and families). The subscriptions are as little as $2 per month – much cheaper than leading filters, yet they’re all tested to the same standards as leading filters.

When you purchase a subscription, you also have the option to add a pitcher, small or large, to your order. The pitchers are also very reasonably priced, starting at just $9.95! Filter Savings Club has also partnered with charity: water to let you help out those in need of clean drinking water around the world. Add $0.50 to your plan to donate every month to the charity.

I received the Butterfly plan and a large pitcher from Filter Savings Club. My family goes through a lot of water and I gave up buying filters for our pitcher because they were just too expensive. We started buying water bottles, but I hate how much waste plastic bottles cause and I still felt as though the cost of them is wasteful. Filter Savings Club seemed like the perfect solution for my family. The size of the pitcher is great, and holds about 16 glasses of water. The filter was easy to set up – just soak for 15 minutes in water, place it in the jug, and run water through the pitcher until it runs clear. Clean out the pitcher, fill, and enjoy! (The funny instructions on the box were an added bonus…but I’ll leave those as a surprise to give you a chuckle!)

The water tastes great and I can’t believe the quality of the filter and pitcher for the small price it costs. My only small complaint about the pitcher is that if it is filled past a certain point, the water will run into the handle and then leak in the fridge. Easy fix though – just make sure you keep an eye on the water level when filling and don’t let it reach the opening for the handle.

Here’s a brief video on Filter Savings Club.

We buy a significant amount of bottled water every month because I can't bring myself to drink from the tap. This might be something worth looking into as an alternative!

Using these filters is definitely more environmentally friendly and cheaper than buying plastic water bottles!
