I grew up going to Bay Plaza – so when the Mall at Bay Plaza opened I was seriously excited. Of course, when I found out that a Famous Footwear had opened in the new mall I was even more thrilled! I do loads of shopping on the Famous Footwear site, but now that there is a location closer to me I can’t stop myself from stopping in to Famous Footwear pretty much on a weekly basis!
I was lucky enough to attend the Famous Footwear grand opening some months ago. I love a good grand opening – but this one was a special treat because it involved a favorite of mine – shoes!
At the grand opening there was a DJ outside the store and within the store itself you could sign up for the Famous Footwear Rewards program and enter to win gift cards from a number of drawings that they held throughout the day.
On the day of the grand opening the store was packed – I mean, back-to-back with shoppers. It was easily the busiest store in the mall! Despite the crowd, my sisters and I picked up a few pairs of shoes. Since then we’ve done an inordinate amount of shopping there!
Famous Footwear always carries the latest in shoe trends, while also stocking your favorite brands. I know it’s one of the only stores where I can find my favorite sneakers – Saucony’s! I love their new location and am in love with the convenience. The store itself is a perfect size – not overwhelmingly large, but big enough to carry shoes for the entire family for every occasion!

How exciting! I love grand openings! Famous Footwear is my favorite place to shop for shoes! This looks like a great FF. I'll be stopping by to check it out the next time I'm in town. I stay near there when my hubby has his seminar.

Although I usually avoid malls except to window shop. i will check this mall store out.
