I learned how to read very early. Not only did my Mom teach me how to read, she taught me that it can be enjoyable. Once I knew how magical and fun that reading could be, I couldn’t get enough of it. I’d read when I was supposed to be doing homework. I’d read when I was supposed to be practicing dance. I’d read when I was supposed to be delivering newspapers.
