Enjoy Essential is run by one person, with a very supportive husband. Cady started designing iron on onesies back in November 2013 as a hobby. To her surprise, she started having orders come in one after another. She loves graphic design and so she designs everything herself. When her Etsy sales started to keep rolling in she decided it was time to have her items screen printed and get her own .com. After her first month, she left her marketing job to work her business full-time.
Cady does her own social media, website, emails and packages each order herself. She also designs her own shirts and even picks the material that her designs will go on.
From Cady’s website ” EE”:
In January 2015, I wanted to find a way to use my ever-growing platform for something bigger. I felt like cancer research and organizations in Africa and other third world countries get the most attention; my hometown is riddled with poverty and I wanted the help to be close to home. I came up with the “one shirt sold = one meal donated” program, which is literally that- at the end of each month I count how many shirts sold and I buy that many meals. I then choose a local organization here in Northern California that are in need of non-perishables. A few of the organizations we work with regularly include Mission Solano and Heart 2 Heart Network for Emancipated Youth.
Abbey is wearing one of Cady’s cute t-shirts, “I Woke Up Like This”. I can’t guarantee that is how Abbey actually looked when she woke up though. Abbey said the t-shirt is SO comfortable. She also said this will probably be her favorite t-shirt to wear while lounging around or even to her classes. Abbey is wearing a medium in the charcoal with white writing.
Cady at Enjoy Essential offers clothing for pregnant women, babies, children and adult women. Some of the t-shirts for the kids are uni-sex in colors also. You can view her first t-shirt design on her website at this link: First T-shirt Design .
