Eating Right Kids

It’s easy to understand why kids want to eat junk food – lots of foods are marketed towards them. Unfortunately, foods marketed towards children aren’t always good for children. That’s what’s great about the Eating Right Kids food program currently being offered by Warner Bros. and Safeway.

Eating Right Kids is a line of better for you, easy to make foods and beverages that was designed to align more closely with updated nutritional guidelines for children. The product line features Looney Tunes characters and reminds families that eating right doesn’t mean your food has to be bland or boring. The foods and snacks in the line are all easy and quick to prepare. There’s food for every meal with product categories including Bread, Cereal, Chewy Bars, Frozen Entrees, Fruit Cups, Fruits & Vegetables, Juice, Waffles & Pancakes, Pudding and Vitamin Water.

I received a lunch tote containing ravioli, cereal bar, fruit cup and a bottle of apple juice. The packaging is attractive and appealing. I gave the lunch to TJ since it contained two of his most favorite foods in the world – ravioli and a fruit cup. The ravioli was a generous size. I did take one bite of the ravioli and it tasted quite good. I gave the apple juice to CJ and he drank it right up. I think this product line would be a great fit for folks needing to make something quick or pack something to go, or those unsure about what it healthy.

Eating Right Kids is branch of the Safeway Eating Right line for adults. Products are available for purchase at more than 1700 Safeway locations in the US and Canada.
