One of my beef stroganoff dishes is a very simple and easy dish made with ground beef. It’s super quick and easy to make. using ground beef it’s also pretty inexpensive. Usually I use condensed cream of celery soup in it. Hhubby wanted stroganoff the other day but I was out of the cream of celery. I decided to substitute condensed cheddar soup instead. The swap gave the dish a whole different taste. Hubby liked it a lot so I will be making it again for him. Here’s how I made it.
Easy Cheesy Beef Stroganoff
- 1 lb pasta (I prefer shells for this)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1x 10 3/4 oz can condensed cheddar cheese soup
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 16 oz sour cream
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
Boil pasta according to package instructions.
Brown the ground beef.
Drain the pasta and place back into the pot.
Add in the sour cream and the onion soup mix and stir well.
Add in the condensed soup mix (undiluted) and stir well.
Add in ground beef and stir well.
Serve with salt and pepper to taste.
