I wanted to make something a little different for my husband. I decided to make some pierogies, but I did them a little differently. The result is a ridiculously simple recipe that’s very tasty. Here it is.

EASY BROCCOLI ALFREDO PIEROGIES
INGREDIENTS
- 1X 13-16 oz package potato and cheddar cheese pierogies
- 1x 10 oz box frozen chopped broccoli
- 1x 8oz Philly cream cheese
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
INSTRUCTIONS
Boil pierogies according to instructions on the package.
While pierogies are boiling, make sure the cream cheese is softened. I microwaved mine for 90 seconds. Mix the onion and garlic powder into the bowl and stir well.
Cook the broccoli. You can microwave it or boil it, whatever is easier for you. I microwaved mine for 2 minutes.
Drain the pierogies.
Pour the cream cheese sauce over the pierogies and gently stir to cover all of the pierogies.
Serve, adding salt and pepper to taste.
