The ALVIN & THE CHIPMUNKS: ALVIN & THE CHIPETTES IN CINDERELLA, CINDERELLA DVD includes the following episodes:
· Cinderella, Cinderella
· Alvie’s Angels
· The Brunch Club
In “Cinderella, Cinderella” Brittany finds herself dreaming of her mean sisters and stepmother in a hilarious retelling of the classic story, complete with a Fairy Godmunk and handsome Prince Charming; “Alvie’s Angels” finds the professional, hair dryer-toting Chipettes on the trail of a notorious jewel thief; and in “The Brunch Club”, the Chipmunks and Chipettes get detention for knocking down a statue at school, but set out to solve the mystery of who really did it, and why.
The great thing about The Chipmunks is that they are family friendly viewing. These are older episodes and it’s fun to see how the Chipmunks, and animation, have evolved over the years. The episodes on this DVD focus more on The Chipettes than The Chipmunks. CJ and I watched the DVD and he didn’t seem to enjoy it quite as much as others that he’s watched. I myself would have liked to have seen more of Alvin, Simon and Theodore. My favorite of the three was Cinderella, Cinderella while CJ seemed to enjoy The Brunch Club the most.
