Creamy Turkey And Noodles Recipe From Val's Kitchen

This is a sponsored post by Lunchbox. As always, any personal opinions expressed are my own.

Most of the meals I make are on the larger side. For much of the year I cook larger meals because I like leftovers. Then, when the holidays roll around, I cook larger meals because we’re joined by friends and family. While I do love thinking up ideas for meals on my own, I also appreciate finding recipes that are almost effortless while still proving to be popular with the crowd.

There are a bunch of exactly those type of recipes on the Walmart.com KRAFT Hub. From appetizers to sides to main dishes to desserts, there’s plenty of inspiration there for any family gathering or holiday get-together. Planning to entertain for the big game or another one of many upcoming sporting events? You’ll find ideas for those parties too.

A favorite of ours from the KRAFT Hub is Creamy Turkey And Noodles. It’s creamy, flavorful and delicious. It’s warm and filling. It is what comfort food should be. And best of all, it’s easy to make. Here’s how you do it.

Creamy Turkey And Noodles

Ingredients

  • 16 oz farfalle (bow-tie) pasta
  • 2x 7.5 oz packages Oscar Mayer Carving Board Oven Roasted Turkey Breast, chopped
  • 2x 10.75 oz cans condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup Breakstone’s or Knudsen Sour Cream
  • 8 oz Kraft Shredded Three Cheese with a Touch Of Philadelphia
  • 16 oz frozen mixed vegetables (carrots, corn, green beans, peas)
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 small onion
  • 6 Tbsp flour

Instructions

Heat the oven to 350° F.

Cook the pasta as directed on package, omitting salt.

While the pasta is cooking, melt the butter in a Dutch oven or large deep skillet on medium heat.

Add the onions and cook and stir for 4 minutes or until crisp-tender.

Add the frozen vegetables and cook for 4 minutes or until thawed, stirring frequently.

Stir in flour until blended; cook and stir 1 min.

Gradually stir in milk; bring to a boil.

Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.

Remove from heat.

Stir in turkey, soup and sour cream.

Drain pasta and add to sauce; stirring until the pasta is evenly coated.
