I love the combination of bacon, cheese and ranch. It’s super yummy on sandwiches. And it’s also super yummy when you use it to make chicken. It’s a whole different texture and flavor then red sauces and creamy, white sauces. I made this over the holidays and it was a big hit, two whole trays gone in one meal. Here’s how I made it.
Cheesy Bacon Ranch Chicken
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups Italian seasoned bread crumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 lb chicken tenderloins
- 2x 14 oz bottles ranch dressing
- 1/2 cup crumbled bacon
- 4 oz shredded cheddar cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 400 f.
Spray a large baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Place a thin layer of ranch dressing on the bottom of the pan.
Place bread crumbs in one bowl and eggs (broken yolk) into another bowl.
Dip each piece of chicken into the egg and then into the bread crumbs.
Place the chicken into the baking pan.
Pour the remainder of the ranch dressing over the chicken, making sure to cover it.
Sprinkle the bacon over the chicken.
Bake covered in foil for 20 minutes.
Uncover and bake for another 15 minutes.
Serve with salt and pepper to taste.

Cheese + Bacon + Chicken...it certainly doesn't get much better than this!

I love these. We make them for our kids and they eat them all gone. Adding bacon really is a big difference and such a great addition! :)

Not much into ranch, any optional suggestions?
