We really enjoy pierogies. They cook quickly and they’re yummy. I’m always looking for different ways to make them. The other night I paired them up with some Minute Steaks. The resulting dish wasn’t especially pretty but it was tasty and filling. Here’s how I made it.
INGREDIENTS
- 2x 13 oz bags frozen pierogies (cheddar or onion work particularly well)
- 4-6 Minute Steaks
- 1x 16 oz jar cheddar sauce (I used Ragu Double Cheddar)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- salt and pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
Boil the pierogies according to the instructions.
While the pierogies are cooking, cook the MInute Steaks.
Drain the pierogies and place into a medium sized bowl.
Pour the sauce over the pierogies.
Add the onion and garlic powder.
Heat on low while stirring to make sure the sauce covers all pierogies.
Serve immediately with salt and pepper to taste.
