MY THOUGHTS
I received a copy of Wreck-It Ralph for review. As a quite extreme Disney fan, Wreck It Ralph looked disappointing to me in previews I had seen. However, I feel as though I’m committing a crime if I skip a new Disney movie.
I am beyond glad I didn’t skip this one! Ralph is one of those characters you fall in love with from the start, despite is big, bulky exterior. He truly has a heart of gold. My daughter and I loved the sweet Vanellope von Schweetz as well – cute and cuddly on the outside, but with quick wit and amazing inner strength. She truly is a character worth admiring. The way Disney took us on a journey through the world of video games was spectacular and it took me back to my childhood of pixelated games. Best of all is the message behind the story: don’t be afraid to be different. I thoroughly enjoyed this from beginning to end. Disney has another masterpiece on its hands!
