There have been some years where I watched the big game. There are far more years where I haven’t. Admittedly, most of the time if my favorite football team doesn’t make it to the big game then it’s just not something I prioritize watching. But every year I can say in all certainty that I do enjoy seeing the commercials that were broadcast during the game. Most of the year, during almost any given television show, I fast forward right through commercials. Generally speaking they just don’t interest me. But at the end of a long football season, when it’s time for the big game, it seems that ad agencies bring out their best work, in the same way that football teams trying to make the big game play their best.I recall years of hearing conversations about these commercials long after conversations about the game itself ended. We don't have cable, so we didn't watch the Super Bowl, but from viewing these, my favorites are the Doritos and Alexa commercials for sure.

My husband loved the series of Tide commercials. I found them amusing for the first few. Then they became annoying.
