Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad recipe From Val's Kitchen

I love cold pasta salad. There are so many different ways you can make it. One of my most favorite ways it to give it a ranch flavor. And since bacon goes so well with ranch, that’s in there too. As is cheese, because bacon and ranch just need cheese. It’s super simple to make and very filling. Here’s how I made it.

Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 lb elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup mayo
  • 1/2 cup onion dip
  • 1x 1oz packet ranch salad dressing mix
  • 1 cup crumbled bacon
  • 2 cups cooked peas (I was out of frozen so used a can of sweet peas)
  • 8oz sharp cheddar cheese, cut into cubes

Instructions

Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the box.

Drain and cool for 5 minutes.

Place 1 cup mayo, 1/2 cup onion dip and the salad dressing packet into a large bowl and mix well.

Place the pasta into the bowl of dressing.

Add the bacon and stir well.

Add the peas and stir well.

Add the cheese and stir well.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

I love pasta salad, especially at cookouts in the summer. Who can pass up bacon ranch?

I consider a creamy pasta salad to be a summer barbecue staple. You can never go wrong with ranch dressing or bacon!

This is something that the boys in the family will love, that’s for sure. I love that you used pasta too, it’s perfect for lunch or as a side during barbecues!

I like the idea of getting some protein in that pasta salad.

Bacon and ranch are two of my favorite things. I will need to make this with some gluten-free pasta!

All about the bacon but I would have to omit the ranch though! 🙂

I only use Ranch to dip my Hot Wings in.
