Have you ever bought a used car? It has its exciting moments for sure, but parts of it can be a bit trying on the nerves. I remember going back a few years when a friend of mine needed to get a car. She’d heard as many horror stories as I had about women going in to car dealerships alone. So, she asked me to go with her. I’ve always been into cars so I didn’t mind. Shopping for a car with a friend can be fun. There’s someone there to help figure out questions and answers. Someone that at the end of the day will have helped make the whole experience a good one.
How do people decide which car to buy? It may start with a certain look, want or need. After that it’s all questions and answers. Does this have that? Does that do this? Is this a good deal? Where can you get answers to these important questions? From friends that have been there. Also, from Autotrader.
Together, Autotrader and Kelley Blue Book are your go to source for used car knowledge, including helpful tech information and stats. It site isn’t scary or overwhelming to use, it’s a bit like an old friend that’s easy to be around. You can even find answers to many of the questions you’d ask your friends. Basically the site is the Girlfriends Guide to Car Shopping.
The site can help guide you through the whole process of buying a car, including how the car buying process works, tips for negotiating a deal. Contemplating whether to buy new, used or certified pre-owned? The guide can help you understand the difference between them and what the advantages and disadvantages may be.
The site offers the potential car buyer more than just details. It’s got useful articles that you and I as regular consumers can relate to. If you’ve ever really wanted an item that you felt was beyond your budget or have found yourself acquiring the object of your dreams after a long wait, the article “Buying a Certified Car Is Kind Of Like Luxury Consignment” will resonate with you.
If you’re in the market for a car or going to be soon, be sure to visit Autotrader to help you get the best deal. You can also keep up with Autotrader on social media, on Facebook and Twitter.

I always start with Autotrader when I'm looking for a new car. I like to get the KBB value for my car too, just to see if I should trade it in or try to sell it.
