A Not So Wordless Wordless Wednesday – A Wedding Wish For A Truly Special Teacher

We'd love it if you shared it!

I was going to give you a picture of me and a weight update but that can wait a day or two.

This is my youngest son’s teacher, Miss M. This photo was taken last year, at a Special Olympics track event she attended to support my son. Since he joined her class a year and a half ago he has thrived. He loves her like crazy. She’s shown herself to not only be a great teacher, but a warm, caring, compassionate and genuine person. She has always offered support for my son in things he’s involved in and has offered me support in projects that I have undertaken. I’ve never met a woman quite like her.  I appreciate what she does for my son and for all children from the bottom of my heart.

Shortly before Christmas Miss M got married. She asked us to join her on her special day. Some people might have been concerned about having a group of children at a wedding, but not her. Some people might have shushed children making noise during the ceremony, but not her, she just grinned. She was beaming that day, as was my son when he saw her. She was a beautiful bride and she and her new husband made a beautiful couple.

Sounds like a wonderful teacher that truly cares about her students. Those teachers don't come around too often and you got to enjoy them while you can.

She makes my son so happy, it's amazing. We're glad she's found someone to be happy with, she deserves it. I don't know him well but I do know he's also spent time with my son and played with him, so I'm pretty sure he's a special person too.
