Family tradition is very important to me. A lot of our family time, our culture, and our love revolves around being in the kitchen. I learned to cook from my mom, and I cook homemade meals for my family almost every night. I’ve been collecting my mom’s recipes, tips, tricks and secrets from the Old World for healthy Italian living for years. I finally wrote them down to pass on to my kids, and the result is Skinny Italian. It’s a love letter to my mom. I would luv to win this cookbook with all my heart. I am Italian and married to an Italian, unfortunately I was never educated about my Italian history or how to cook Italian. Winning this cookbook can be a start to our family tradition and that I can share cooking with my 13 yr old daughter and spend some quality time with her and hopefully she will enjoy and past down to her children. PS It will also make my husband very happy to get a delicous homemade Italian meal made with luv.
