To celebrate my son’s twelfth birthday we let him invite some friends to the movies. So this afternoon I took my now twelve year old son and six of his friends to see the movie Fred Claus. The movie was funny and a good time was had by all. Five of the six boys returned to my house so the boys could play Guitar Hero. Four of the boys somehow convinced me and their parents to sleep over. So now they’re less than ten feet from me watching tv. At one point they saw Hannah Montana and admired her. Then they turned on Mtv where I heard a couple of comments about booties and boobies. There was also discussion of who’s hot. Now they’re discussing girlfriends and who has them and how many. When I go to bed I better check the parental lock on the big tv since they’re camping out in the living room. It seems like yesterday these same boys were all content to see a PG movie or play with Pokemon cards. How did this happen?!

Hahaha! One day, sooner or later, parents will have to face with this. At least you have things like parental lock on the TV there in US. But then, in Malaysia, all shows on TV is censored, so we have less thing to worry -- only can't filter things like DVD/VCD. :)
What it means it, your son and his friends, have grown up! ;)
