Equipment Needed

  • electric pressure cooker (I used a GoWISE 8-Qt 12-in-1 Electric Pressure Cooker.)
  • mixing bowl
  • silicone cooking spoon
  • measuring cups

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pasta (I used cavatappi)
  • 3/4 cup crumbled bacon
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • pepper to taste
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp dried onion

Instructions

Set the pressure cooker to saute.

Place the crumbled bacon and minced garlic into the pot and saute briefly.

Remove the bacon and garlic from the pot and set aside.

Place the pasta into the pot and cover it with the water.

Set the pressure cooker to cook on manual high pressure for 5 minutes.

While the pasta is cooking, place the eggs and heavy cream into a bowl and combine.

Once the pasta’s cooking cycle has finished, do a quick pressure release.

Add the egg mixture to the pot and combine thoroughly until all pasta is coated.

Add in the shredded cheese and stir well.

Serve immediately with black pepper to taste.

    This is quite an easy and convenient pasta to make. Can serve as a complete meal. Will make this with cheese and maybe some veggies.
