Ingredients
- 1.25 lbs sweet Italian sausage
- 1 lb ziti
- 28 oz can crushed tomatoes seasoned with basil
- 28 oz water
- 1/2 cup light cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp onion powder

Instructions
Set the Instant Pot to saute. Place a thin layer of olive oil onto the bottom of the pot.
Place the sausage links into the pot and brown them. This takes about 15 minutes.
Use tongs to keep turning your sausage. Once the sausage is about 3/4 of the way cooked, remove one link at a time and cut it into slices, then return the slices to the pot.
Once the sausage is almost all of the way browned through and through, add the pasta.
Now add the crushed tomatoes, seasoning and water. All of the pasta and sausage should be covered at this point.
Place the lid onto the Instant Pot and close the valve so it’s sealed.
Set the Instant Pot to cook on high pressure for 6 minutes.
Once the cooking cycle has finished, do a quick pressure release.
Add 1/2 cup of cream and stir well.
Add 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese and stir well.
Serve and enjoy.

Oh wow. That pasta dish looks so creamy and delicious! I am just so happy I got an Instant Pot. My two best buddies in the kitchen are my Crock Pot and my Instant Pot!

I've never heard of pot ziti before but it looks nice. Actually I've mixed pasta with sausages before so I guess it's kind of similar. Although yours looks like it tastes a lot better than what I made.
