Instant Pot Roast Beef Recipe

We'd love it if you shared it!

Instant Pot Roast Beef. I almost hate to say there’s a recipe for this because it requires only 5 ingredients and is so simple to make. This roast beef is naturally gluten-free depending on the spices used.

Instant Pot Roast Beef. I almost hate to say there’s a recipe for this because it’s so unbelievably simple to make. The Instant Pot electric pressure cooker does almost all of the work, which means you don’t have to keep coming back into the kitchen to check or turn the meat. In fact, I left the house once the cooking cycle completed (which takes about 20 minutes start to finish give or take) and the Instant Pot switched to keep warm. Basically, the heaviest lifting you will have to do is actually lifting the roast. Cooking gluten-free? No problem! Since the only other ingredient besides the roast beef is two seasonings, if your seasonings are gluten-free then your roast beef is gluten-free. When preparing the roast this way you will wind up with about 1.5 cups of beef broth, you can serve that right over the top like an au jus, or if you’re having potatoes as a side then serve it over them. I prepared this roast to be medium rare. If you let it rest longer then I did your roast will be less pink obviously. Here’s how I make it.

You didn’t do a quick release. Just pushed cancel and then the jeep warm for the 150 min. Is that correct

It was perfect to slice, but tough, I put the slices back in the broth and pressure cooked on high 20 minutes and let natural pressure release. Was perfectly tender, and left overs for beef and noodles
