After going for years without a diaper bag and then needing one again, I was determined to find something that not only fit my new lifestyle as mom of two but still made me feel like I hadn’t given everything up that made me womanly. A diaper bag is an attachment of you who are when you’re out with your kids, so it’s a statement. It doesn’t just have to say “I AM A MOM”. It should say “I’m a fun mom”, or “I’m a mom who hasn’t lost all fashion sense, even if I’m running on 4 cups of coffee and 3 hours of sleep”.

I got to review the Gittabag Gitta Fit. This bag is perfect for a mom with two kids – 6 and a 1 year old. The baby is also a new walker, so the two shoulder strap the Fit features is perfect. It allows me to use the diaper bag and when I need to grab him, it’s not a hindrance by falling off my shoulder.
As you can see, I also take A LOT of stuff with me when going out with the kids. Spare outfits, snacks, milk, the blanket, cups. That list doesn’t account for my stuff when we go! The Fit not only fits all the kids’ stuff, but my own too (and the cup holder inside the diaper bag? GENIUS!)
My other favorite feature of the Fit is the built in diaper changing “station” with detachable pad. I don’t know if you’ve looked at the changing station offered at retailers, restaurants, malls, etc. but they’re not always the cleanest. And when you have a toddler who is ready to move? Well, it’s practically impossible to clean without them getting in to something first. The built in station/detachable pad allows me the ease of changing B’s diaper without having to clean stuff first. I can put down the pad, change B, pack up leave, and wash the changing pad when we get home.
Gittabags is now on my list of “must haves” to any new mom or dad searching for that perfect diaper bag.
