I am a cat lover. I have always considered my cats to be members of the family. As such, I like to watch them play just as I do my children. I have always believed that one part of the reason that my cats have never ever stratched my furniture is because I have always given them a place to do so. Years ago we had a cat tower that my cats loved and used often. In fact, they used it so heavily that they shredded the carpet leaving it with numerous bare spots. Bald and no longer eye appealing, we had to retire the tower.  Solvit’s Kitty’Scape is a product that has a neat modular design that allows you to not only configure the design the way you want it, but also to replace any part that may wear out. A Whole New Way for Cats to Play. Kitty’scape is a whole new concept in cat play structures, giving cat owners the ability to assemble components any way they choose to build a custom play structure for their feline friends! A complete play structure can be assembled in just minutes with no tools.

The modular design of the Kitty’scape means the different columns, platforms and accessories are interchangeable so they can be assembled in countless combinations to meet the needs of individual cat families. Platforms can be placed close together for kittens or older cats or further apart for more athletic and adventurous felines.

Cats are intelligent and inquisitive – satisfy their need to explore and keep them engaged by periodically re-configuring their playscape. Kitty’scape assembles and disassembles easily by hand so you can create an all-new structure in minutes. Designing and building your custom playscape is so much fun, the whole family will want to get involved.

It’s a fact of life that kids and cats can be rough on the furniture – with Kitty’scape it’s not a worry – if a piece wears out, just replace it – no more replacing an entire cat tree just because some parts are worn out!

Kitty’Scape is available in a variety of starter kits, expansion kits, and accessories. All the pieces work together so you can expand and create to your heart’s (and cat’s) content. We received a Kitty’Scape Basic Kit. The Basic Kit includes: one Base platform; one Oval platform; one Penthouse Perch; five long columns, including one seagrass scratching column; two short columns; teaser toy, and multiple connectors. The kit can reach up to 33” high and weighs 15 pounds. The dimensions of kit pieces are: Base Platform = 15 x 23.5 x 1.5; Oval Platform = 15 x 23.5 x 0.75; Half-oval Platform = 15 x 21 x 0.75; Penthouse Platform = 18 x 14 x 2; Full-length columns = 15 x 2.75; Half-length columns = 7.5 x 2.75. The pieces in the kit are sturdy and I look forward to Zelda and Jules enjoying it for a long time to come.
