One-Pot Gluten-free Beef Penne Pasta Recipe For Ninja 3-in-1 Cooking System - From Vals Kitchen

Many one-pot meals seem to have a richer taste than others to me. I find this particularly to be true with pasta. Instead of just using a jarred sauce, I often like to use some other things when making gluten-free pasta, because its taste and texture is different than traditional. This meal is very easy to make, using the Ninja to make it a one-pot meal keeps the amount of pots and pans you need to wash down to one plus it gets a nice full flavor. My son loves this dish. A batch this size makes 4-6 servings for him. I have simply reheated it to use leftovers, and Ive also frozen it when making meals in advance. Heres how I made it.

One-Pot Gluten-free Beef Penne Pasta

Equipment

Ninja 3-in-1 Cooking System

Chop Stir tool

silicone spoon

Ingredients

  • 12 oz box gluten-free penne (I used Ronzoni)
  • 15 oz jar pasta sauce (I used Classico creamy tomato & roasted garlic)
  • 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes with roasted garlic and onion
  • 4 oz water
  • 4 oz shredded cheddar jack cheese

Instructions

Set Ninja to stovetop high.

Place the ground beef into the Ninja and brown.

When the beef is cooked, remove from Ninja and set aside. Do not drain the juices.

Place pasta sauce, diced tomatoes and water into the Ninja and bring to a boil.

Add the pasta to the Ninja.

Cover and let cook for about 10 minutes, at which point the pasta will be starting to boil again and will feel al dente.

Add the beef back into the Ninja, along with the shredded cheese.

Stir well.

Serve with salt and pepper to taste.

I love one pot meals. I've never had gluten free pasta before though. Does it taste just like regular pasta?

Sounds like a great pasta dish. I do not have gluten intolerance so I would prefer it with normal pasta or even whole grain. A nice bowl of pasta is always a great idea.
