I love cold pasta salad. There are so many different ways you can make it. One of my most favorite ways it to give it a ranch flavor. And since bacon goes so well with ranch, that’s in there too. As is cheese, because bacon and ranch just need cheese. It’s super simple to make and very filling. Here’s how I made it.
Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad
Ingredients
- 1 lb elbow macaroni
- 1 cup mayo
- 1/2 cup onion dip
- 1x 1oz packet ranch salad dressing mix
- 1 cup crumbled bacon
- 2 cups cooked peas (I was out of frozen so used a can of sweet peas)
- 8oz sharp cheddar cheese, cut into cubes
Instructions
Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the box.
Drain and cool for 5 minutes.
Place 1 cup mayo, 1/2 cup onion dip and the salad dressing packet into a large bowl and mix well.
Place the pasta into the bowl of dressing.
Add the bacon and stir well.
Add the peas and stir well.
Add the cheese and stir well.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

All about the bacon but I would have to omit the ranch though! :-)
I only use Ranch to dip my Hot Wings in.

Bacon and ranch are two of my favorite things. I will need to make this with some gluten-free pasta!

I love a good pasta salad. Adding bacon in is just an extra delicious piece to the already amazing salad :)
