I remember watching Robin Hood as a child. Being as this Blu-ray is the 40th anniversary release, I’ve officially dated myself now haven’t I? We all know the story of Robin Hood. I have no idea if Robin Hood was a real person or just a fable, but it’s always been a fun story for me. Robin Hood lived in Sherwood Forest in England. He robbed from the rich and gave to the poor. Why did he do this? He did it because the kingdom has been taken over by Prince John, who was selfish and greedy. prince John put taxes on everything, leaving families with no money. When families couldn’t pay they would be put into jail. Robin Hood wanted to steal all of the money back from Prince John and give it back to the poor people of the kingdom. To do this he has the help of his band of outlaw friends, including Little John and Friar Tuck. He’ll also come face to face with his childhood love Maid Marian. Who will end up in jail? Will the people get their money back? You’ll have to watch for yourself to find out. This movie is sure to be a hit for disney fans of all generations.
