REVIEW – Kids Foot Locker For Fall Clothing

My son can’t easily wear pants with buttons and zippers due to toileting issues and lives in track pants. Nice track pants, not just any old sweats. We LOVE these pants for him but often have a hard time finding them in his size. When I find them, I buy as many different colors as I can find. I sometimes will travel to different stores just to get them. Kids Foot Locker, which you may know of as a shoe retailer, also carries a lot of kids clothing. They carry a god number of name brands, including adidas, one of the only companies we have ever seen that makes track pants that are a good fit for my son.

What makes these adidas pants so great is the way they wash and wear, plus the way they look. The adidas Originals Firebird Track Pant is made of a soft polyester tricot that wears very well – it doesn’t get thin, and it doesn’t get pill like cotton sweats. They wash exceptionally well, and I know this because these pants are worn hard. These pants survive accidents very well, there’s never a stain like you’ll often find on regular sweats. The pants are loose enough to be comfortable, but styled so loosely that fit or staying up becomes challenging. These pants retail for $34.99 per pair but can be found on sale. I have found track pants for a bit less money and didn’t like them a bit. Some have huge flared legs that are just ugly. Others are just not well made and don’t last.

The other really great thing about the pants is that they go well with lots of different things. They can be paired easily with a tee or hoodie, depending on the weather. For the crazy weather we’re having right now, which is bouncing between warm and cool, I have him in graphic tees like the adidas Originals Heritage Logo t-shirt. T-shirts like this are great because they come in all sorts of colors and patterns. Plus, the classic styling is just right, not too young and not too old for him.Then, if it’s chilly, he’ll wear a zippered hoodie over top. The adidas Originals Floating Trefoil Full-Zip Hoodie is made of 65% cotton/35% polyester fleece, and boy is it soft and warm. When the weather turns cold we switch from t-shirts to hoodies without zippers, and then a coat for outdoors.
