I am such a giant fan of one-pot meals. They’re pretty simple, and they don’t require lots of pots and pans. Here’s one that my family has enjoyed for a while. It’s very simple and tasty. I love how tender the pasta is. If you prefer a dish with more heat just add your favorite hot spices and you’ll be good to go. Here’s how I make it.
One-Pot Taco Beef Pasta
INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb elbow macaroni
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1x 28oz can diced tomatoes
- 2x .1 oz packet taco seasoning
- 8 oz shredded taco cheese
INSTRUCTIONS
Brown the ground beef in a large skillet.
Add the pasta, tomatoes and broth to the beef. Sti well.
Add the taco seasoning and stir well.
Bring to a boil.
Cover and let simmer for 15 minutes.
Add cheese and let simmer for another 2 minutes or so, just enough to let the cheese melt.
Serve and enjoy immediately.

1 pot plus taco pasta equals amazing. This is my kind of dish and it is simple. Simple is key when you have not so much time and a big family.

My kids would love this!! I like that it's a one pot dish. I can save the cleaning time and focus on the kids instead.
