REVIEW AND GIVEAWAY - Playdin Plush Dolls

Playdin is a new company launched in 2012 whose mission is to create whimsical, enchanting, and unique toys that inspire young girls to dream big. Playdin focuses on teaching girls to own what makes them different. I love this!

The company currently features two brands: Zip-Itz and Cotton Candy Cutesies.

Cotton Candy Cutesies retail for $13.99 and are made for girls ages 3 & up. These adorable 8-inch plushies have hair that resembles the fluffiest, tastiest cotton candy. Each Cotton Candy Cutesie also has a unique personality reflected by their flavor! Shown here are my two favorites, Bubble Gum and Rainbow Cookie, but other Cotton Candy Cutesies include Hot Cinnamon, A La Mode, and Orange Cream Soda. The adorableness factor of these is just irresistible on all levels.

Zip-Itz are equally adorable plushies that came to life after a mysterious machinery malfunction at the Zany Zipper Factory ™. Though no one knows the exact story behind their magical existence, it is certain that they make adorable, unique friends for young girls. These plushies are 9-inches long and retail between $16.99-$21.99. The Zip-Itz all boast unique personalities as well and contain several zippers that open up to reveal secret pockets! To facilitate my review, I received Zeke (pictured below), an adorable animal-and-nature-loving Zip-Itz. Though Playdin focuses on toys for girls, I am not at all opposed to my 15-month-old son playing with Zeke. In fact, upon seeing him in the box, he immediately smiled and pointed at him. In other words – “Mom, open that thing up and let me play!” He’s not quite at the age to understand and work a zipper (hence the 3 & up recommendation on these toys, as well as the safety factor for small parts) but he stared at Zeke, smiling, for a good ten minutes before giving him a very tight hug. Zeke has quickly transitioned himself into a favorite stuffy! My other two favorite Zip-Itz are pictured below: Zara and Zinkie! I can’t help but love the cute names, too!
