MY THOUGHTS

I received a copy of Crazy For Cake Pops. Chapters include Equipment, Flavors, Method, Designs, Techniques, and Suppliers. The book begins by telling you what equipment is generally needed to make cake pops. Then recipes for different flavors of basic cake balls and icings are provided. Next comes step by step instructions to making a cake pop, with photos for each step. After that come the different designs for cake pops. The instructions here are written clearly and are very easy to understand. Each design tells you which of the cake ball recipes to use, as well as what you’ll need to decorate the ball in order to transform it into the cake pop shown. Each design is accompanied by a photo of the finished cake pop. Some of the designs I’d really like to try include Ice Cream Cone Pops, Tropical Fish Pops, Snowmen Pops, Skull Pops, and Halloween Pumpkin Pops. Oh really, they’re all gorgeous, I’d be thrilled to be able to make any of them. These would be great for any type of party or entertaining. The book would be a great gift for anyone who entertains or has kids or just enjoys baking.
