That map there is The Weather Channels map measuring current wind speed as Hurricane Sandy heads for towards the Jersey Shore. That pink arrow is where I am. Yeah. Fun times.
I shot this short video a few minutes before 4 pm. Wind speed has increased yet again. It’s cold. The Weather Channel is saying the center will be coming onshore in about another two hours or so. Power still flickering a little but no loss here yet.
