As a Mom who works in and out of the house I put off cleaning and organizing far more often than I should. As a result, a lot of clutter builds up. As such, I accepted the offer to review the book Clutter Clearing Choices.

Funny, thorough, and not the least bit intimidating, this book is a godsend for the organizationally challenged. It makes keeping the clutter manageable seem manageable after all. Endorsement by: Victoria Moran

Clutter Clearing Choices is humorous, authentic, and entertaining. It is an extremely informative book on clutter clearing, home organizing, and simple living.

If someone thinks they have already read everything out there about clutter, this book will show them they haven’t. If this is the first clutter clearing book someone picks up, they will be pleasantly surprised by the flexibility and quantity of helpful ideas and resources here.

Readers are invited to pick and choose what works for them. There is no single right way to get rid of clutter!

This book is filled with practical ideas to reduce clutter and get organized to free up time and energy for personal priorities, whatever they are! Isn’t that much more fun than hunting for car keys or misplaced paperwork?

I received a copy of Clutter Clearing Choices. Sections include Introduction & Basics, Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall, Christmas Season, and the Conclusion. I haven’t gotten all of the way through the book yet but that’s ok because it isn’t really that kind of book. Why? Because it’s organized by season. I thought it was interesting that the book was organized by season as opposed to room or type of item. When I thought about it it did make sense because we can have different types of clutter at different times of the year. You’re less likely to have to worry about income tax clutter in the summer as you are in the spring when you’re getting ready to do your taxes. Pages 4-5, or “Gosh, where did all this stuff come from?” is dead on accurate. When I read Chapter 4, The Birth Of The Underwear Drawer Lady, I thought I was reading about my own underwear drawer. I took 10 minutes and cleaned it out just as she had and it has made a wonderful time-saving difference in the morning when getting dressed for work. I’ve only gotten through the Winter section so far. My favorite chapters include Chapter 5 on Curing Household Chaos, Chapter 6 on Closet Clutter, and Chapter 14 on Air Clutter. I’m looking forward to making my way through the rest of the book and seeing what other interesting and/or helpful tips I find.
