White Mint Chocolate Oreo Truffles #Recipe

We'd love it if you shared it!

White Mint Chocolate Oreo Truffles

I love Oreo Truffles. I wanted to make them but do them a little differently. I have some Cake Boss cake pans that make beautiful cookies and I decided to put the truffle mix into them instead of just making balls. Unfortunately, the design of the cookies really didn’t come out too well, so the resulting truffles just looked round. Not horrible, just now what I planned. Fortunately, they tasted great. They’re super easy to make, and here’s how I did it.

White Mint Chocolate Oreo Truffles

Ingredients

  • 1x 14 oz bag White Mint Chocolate candy wafers (I used Make N Mold that I bought at AC Moore)
  • 1 package Philly cream cheese
  • 30 Oreo cookies
  • colored sprinkles (jimmies, nonpareils, whatever you call them)

Instructions

Crush the cookies and place the crumbs into a large bowl. I put them in a large Ziploc bag and break them apart with the flat side of a meat tenderizer.

Soften the cream cheese. I microwaved it for 2 minutes.

Add the cream cheese into the cookie crumbs and stir well.

Pour the cookie mix into the cookie mold and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.

Soften the chocolate wafers. I put it into a bowl and microwaved it for 2 minutes, at which point when stirred it was no loner solid wafers.

Remove the cookie mix from the cookie molds and dip in the melted chocolate. Be sure to hold over the bowl for a few moments to let as much excess chocolate as possible drip off back into the bowl.

Sprinkle the sprinkles over the chocolate.

Refrigerate for 15 minutes minimum before serving.

What’s your favorite kind of dessert truffle?

I most definitely love truffles with chocolate inside. Maybe THESE are my new favorite truffles. :)

They look square and delicious to me. I kinda like the shape they took actually; they look more interesting.
