Tyson Heat ‘N Eat Entrees With Giveaway

We'd love it if you shared it!

Tyson has created a line of fully cooked, refrigerated dinner meats called Heat ‘N Eat Entrées. They’re made from the quality Tyson chicken, beef and pork that you’re used to and are designed to help you serve a fresh and tasty meal without hours of prep time. The entrees contain no preservatives and can be heated in the microwave or in the oven.

The product line includes

  • Beef Pot Roast in Gravy
  • Roast Beef in Brown Gravy
  • Maple & Brown Sugar Glazed Ham
  • Seasoned Beef Meatloaf
  • Beef Tips in Gravy
  • Pork Roast in Gravy
  • Chicken Breast Medallions in White Wine & Garlic Sauce
  • Chicken Breast Medallions in Italian Herb Sauce
  • Beef Brisket in Fire Roasted Onion Sauce
  • Braised Beef Brisket with Mild Chili Sauce
  • Beef Steak Tips in Burgundy Sauce
  • Pork Loin in Sweet & Tangy BBQ Sauce

We received samples of four flavors – Pork Loin in Sweet & Tangy BBQ Sauce, Beef Brisket in Fire Roasted Onion Sauce, Braised Beef Brisket with Mild Chili Sauce and Beef Steak Tips in Burgundy Sauce. I made two of them in the oven and two of them in the microwave.

The entrees are easy to make. Open the box.

Remove the cardboard. If you’re cooking in the microwave you put three puncture holes in the bag. If you’re cooking in the oven you need to move the contents of the bag to an oven safe dish.

When the brisket is done cooking it looks just as good as any recipe you’ve made from scratch and spent hours on.

All four of the entrees that we tried tasted fresh and absolutely great, not bland or stale like some precooked meals. What I liked best about the meals is that they were easy to prepare and could be cooked in a hurry. After working eight hours the last thing I want to do is come home and stand in the kitchen for another two. I also liked that the meals had ample gravy to allow me to serve a side such as potatoes, pasta or noodles using that gravy. TJ liked the Braised Beef Brisket with Mild Chili Sauce best. RB and I both liked the Beef Brisket in Fire Roasted Onion Sauce best – the taste and smell reminded us both of french onion soup. I served that one with baked potatoes.

Tyson partnered with Robin Miller of the Food Network to come up with some videos offering some quick and easy recipe ideas using the Heat ‘N Eat Entrees. You can find some of Robin’s tips and recipes on EmbraceDinner.com. Check out this video on how to make Brisket Caprese Salad.

Left a comment on your Mom's blog for 'Wordless Wed' - the WWII monument in Hawaii - Pearl Harbor. Some day I would love to see it!

I've tried almost ALL of these, and they are fabulous! Next I'd like to try the 'Maple & Brown Sugar Ham' entree. Cook (in the Micro, of course!) for 4 minutes then let stand for 2 minutes, then serve! I love these entrees because my Hubby & I are 'Empty nesters', and this is just about the right amount w/out too much leftover. (I HATE to waste food - guess that comes from being brought up by parents who were raised by parents who came throught the Depression!)
