Splenda – Send A Pie And Feed The Hungry

Did you know that last month, for Independence day, Splenda partnered with Meals On Wheels and distributed a record number of slices of apple pie baked with Chef Katie Brown’s exclusive SPLENDA recipe to veterans and the hungry? That’s right. That’s awesome, I love to see companies doing things for the community. Splenda has also promised to donate $50,000 to the Meals On Wheels Association. What a fabulous organization Meals On Wheels is. My Grandma received Meals On Wheels for a while when she was alive. The meals were so helpful and needed on her limited income. And that minute or two of extra human contact always made her day.

Splenda has promised to donate an additional $5,000 if folks like you and I join together to send at least 25,000 virtual pies through Labor Day. It’s easy to send a pie, and free! Just go to http://apps.facebook.com/send-a-pie/ and with a few clicks you can design and send your pie. What a great way for us to help those who really need it!
