ABOUT STAR ROCK FOR KIDS

Star Rock for Kids! Is the FIRST EVER compilation CD that’s fun for the whole family, featuring individual vocal styles of children and teens singing hits that span the decades to today’s hottest songs, while creating an opportunity for kids to record on a nationally recognized CD. Created by top NYC vocal coach and STAR SEARCH CHAMPION, Lisa Damiani, the CD serves as a great inspiration for kids to express their own unique voices on a major record label, as well as a safe outlet for parents who are looking for a stage to showcase their kids’ creativity and talent regardless of economic or geographical challenges.

The first Star Rock for Kids! CD features 18 songs from all the decades including: S.O.S. (Rihanna), Holiday (Madonna), It’s a Beautiful Life (Ace of Base), Girlfriend (Avril Levigne), Makes Me Wonder (Maroon 5), You Make Me Feel So Young (Frank Sinatra), If I Can’t have You (Yvonne Elliman,), and L-O-V-E (Nat King Cole).

Each CD contains an application to be filled out and submitted and invites kids to create a two-minute demo showcasing their vocal and performance abilities for the chance to become the next “Star Rock Kid” and visit the Star Rock Recording Studios in New York City to be part of the next CD.

MY THOUGHTS

I received a copy of Star Rock For Kids. There are eighteen songs on the C, the songs being sung by oneor another of nine children ages ranging from seven to seventeen. The kids singing sounded good, surprisingly professional. I liked that the songs on the CD came from several eras, I think it’s good to expose children to different music. My son CJ enjoyed dancing to the music, proclaiming it “fun, fun”.

The Star Rock for Kids! premiere CD is available for purchase online at www.StarRockForKids.com and will be sold nationwide at major retailers including Target and Walmart.
