Featuring social-emotional themed stories and songs, children will learn all about important skills they need to get along with others and strategies on entering social groups. Join Elmo and Grover as they share stories and songs about making friends, taking turns and sharing and laugh along with Professor Grover’s silly antics!

MY THOUGHTS

I received a copy of Sesame Street: Preschool is Cool – Making Friends for review. Though the DVD is aimed for kids a bit older than my 9-month old, I am sure he could appreciate the loveable Sesame Street characters just as any older child does. I love that Sesame Street always provides a simple, yet important message, and kids love that it’s entertaining, colorful, and cheerful. In this DVD, Grover and Elmo learn how to make friends at a new, intimidating place: preschool. Perfect lesson for any little one. I am sure I will get more use out of the message when my son is a bit older, but for now he can enjoy the stories and songs about making friends and working together with others. The DVD even includes English and Spanish subtitles and a bonus full length video, “Ready for School”.
