REVIEW AND GIVEAWAY – Robby Wash Laundry Ball

We'd love it if you shared it!

Robby Wash

We’re always trying to find better ways to do laundry. For some better means less work. For others better means less packaging, which is the selling point of the new Robby Wash Ball.

ABOUT ROBBY WASH

The green home products company, Oransi – http://www.oransi.com – has launched in the U.S. an ultra high efficiency hypoallergenic laundry detergent ball created in France called Robby Wash. One Robby Wash ball can last up to 12 months and each 10 ounces of Robby Wash ball replaces 75 lbs. of traditional laundry detergent, making it environmentally friendly.

MY THOUGHTS

I received two of the blue Robby Wash Balls. When I saw them my first thoughts were “that thing is going to make a racket in the washer” and “how well does it clean”. Each package comes with a filled ball, 3 refill packs and a stain stick. The Robby Wash is easy to use. Just put the ball into your washing machine (or two balls if you have an oversized washer). That’s it. The Robby Wash Ball stays in there. When the pellets in the ball need to be refilled all you have to do is open the tab and our the new pellets in. Each ball should last for 2-3 years.

To address my first thought. I was surprised that the ball did not make the racket I expected it too. I peeked in and saw it floating around quietly. To address my second thought. The laundry did come out clean. I like my laundry to have a scent that lingers. The Robby Wash Ball has a light, pleasing scent. The Robby Wash Ball comes in two styles – the pink ball is for low temperature loads (32-90ºF) and the blue washing ball is for high temperatures (32-180ºF). I myself would prefer an all temperature Ball, so that you don’t have to swap out balls depending on what wash you’re doing. Robby Wash contains no phosphates or chlorine, and is hypoallergenic. The best thing about the Robby Wash Ball is that it’s super friendly to the environment. That one ball replaces countless boxes and bottles of detergent.

One Robby Wash Ball retails for $32.95 and can be purchased online from Oransi.
