The outside of the book has a color coded section making it easy to find the category you want. This cookbook is very colorful. Two beautiful color photos appear on just about every other page, meaning about 2/3 of the recipes are accompanied by a photo. Recipes are all easy to understand and call for ordinary ingredients found in most kitchens and grocery stores. Prep looks straight forward and is explained well. The only thing the recipes are missing is cooking and prep time. Some of the recipes I’m looking forward to trying include Oatmeal Bake, Peach Stuffed French Toast Bowls, Parmesan Hash Browns, Caprese Cups, Lasagna Rolls. Turkey Pot Pies, Taco Cups, No-Bake Cheesecakes with Raspberry Sauce, and Petite Pies. This cookbook is a lot of fun. Until I created my Meatloaf Muffins recipe for Betty Crocker, I’d never really thought of cooking anything in a muffin tin except for muffins and cupcakes. it’s such a great idea! Not only are muffin sized portions the perfect size for toddlers and children, they’re also perfect appetizers! This cookbook is great for anyone with children and those who enjoy entertaining.
